Designed and implemented research project on horticultural marketing in The Gambia. Analyzed economic returns to storage and staggered production. Designed and supervised data collection of on-farm trials, weekly price and quantity data, and rapid reconnaissance of horticultural market structure. Investigated import substitution and export potential of horticultural crops. Influenced horticultural research priorities as a member of the National Agricultural Research Advisory Board (ARAB) and the government horticultural task force. Presented research results and proposals at annual ARAB meetings.
