Reunion Highlights
It happened! We all met for a few days in the Oregon woods and had a fine time.
First to arrive and first to leave, Jim Gawel and his wife Mindy. Jim had to travel so they left us the next day. Sounds familiar...
Mike Breen and his "normal" wife Liz were the last to arrive, pulling in Friday morning. In between there were

* Charles, Hilary and Isaac
* Mike, Brian and Maria
* Angie, Joe and Selena
* Faye
* John
* Ken
* Carol
* Alan, Jennifer, Eleanor and Matthew

The Lodge was perfect, the rooms small, beds somewhat old and tired and the hot water inconsistent. Gave us all that welcome Malaika feeling!! We cooked and ate together, and scattered to various activities in little groups depending on interests, length of legs and so forth. Friday evening was Nyama Choma time. These gents are preparing the goat, which was delightful. Goat Nyama Choma prep
Alan and kids playing Mr.Clock Angie and Hilary cooking
Alan playing Mr. Clock with Matthew, Eleanor and Isaac - Angie and Hilary in the kitchen
Maria Eleanor ducking the camera while walking with John White
Maria is "Mr.Clock" - Eleanor ducking the camera while walking with John White

Details from the old reunion page are still available.

Hi
I was a Swedish volunteer in Homa Bay, Kenya 1991-95.
I am looking for a RPCV friend Mr J.Bland Bennet from Kentucky.
Can any of you help me find him?
Thanks
Anna (Collins)-Falk

I'm leaving for Kenya next month in the Small Enterprise Development Program/Information Technology program. So I'm interested in contact with anyone who might have had a similar posting in recent years. Basically, I'm wondering what to bring in terms of reference materials and software. I understand the technology might be pretty rudimentary. Any ideas?

I am a Kenyan who lived near the Peace Corp training centre, Malaika, in 1990 to 1992.

I made friends with Peace Corp Volunteers like Joyce Coates, Scott and others. There was a girl who was posted to Punda Milia Girls School. But I particularly remember a young man (then) whom everyone called K C. He taught English in a school somewhere.

Where are you K.C?
