I worked in a rural school construction program. I lived in 3 different communities for about 1 year each. I worked with the men of the village , building a primary school for their community. Also installed water systems and planted gardens.

I did all my language and construction training in Gabon. I arrived in country July 1980. I did extra training in well drilling at the Choctaw Indian Nation in Antellers, Oklahoma in 1981. I was trained by the Indian Health Service. I worked in a Rural Primary school construction program. I built 3 primary schools and installed several community wells and spring boxes. I extended my contract so that I could get training in water, and sanitation systems and work the community I was living with. After training I returned to Gabon and installed 7 community water and filtration systems. I left Gabon and Peace Corps .September,1983

I am currently designing and building sustainable systems for "Water, Food, and Housing", for remote clinics or refugee operations.
