Georgia PCV's in standfast for a couple of days
Just off the phone with a G2. So far, the elections are running smoothly in the Republic of Georgia. As a precaution, the PCV's are in standfast for a couple of days. Hoping that all will go well with the counting of votes after the recent fiasco.

Just off the phone with a G2. So far, the elections are running
smoothly in the Republic of Georgia. As a precaution, the PCV's are
in standfast for a couple of days. Hoping that all will go well with
the counting of votes after the recent fiasco.
Out of the six candidates, Saakashvili is the frontrunner. He was
the most prominent leader in the recent Revolution of Roses.
Saw a news clip of Shevardnadze casting his vote (reportedly for
Saakashvili). Saakashvili has a son named Eduard, in honor of his
godfather, Shevardnadze.
Will there be that much reform in Georgia although news reports say
they will become more Western leaning. Reportedly, our government
gives them a billion dollars a year.
