Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
Since 1989, I have been a volunteer country specialist for Amnesty International USA. In this capacity, I have worked on CAR, Chad, Gabon, Congo-Brazzaville, DRCongo, Cameroon, Rwanda and Burundi. I also advise on military arms/training transfer issues related to human rights. I am currently AIUSA's Chad and Gabon specialist. My academic specialty is military politics in francophone Africa.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Going to central Africa as a changed my life and my outlook in so many ways I can't list them here.
