I'm an RPCV from Zambia aquaculture '03-'05. I've been living in the Netherlands since COS and now I work as a recruiter of Africans for the University of Liverpool's online masters programs. My colleagues and I would like to get some money together to 'sponsor a child' but with the number of unsustainable, unproductive ngo's I saw in Zambia, I think it would be worth investigating a bit before we give any money away. Someone here has identified 'Plan International' as a good choice. Does anyone have any experience with them? Any other suggestions of a worthy project or ngo?
