I have been in Hargeisa for 2 months in past 3 years. I have been working with the Edna Adan Maternity Hospital in Hargeisa - over 8500 babies born there since opening in 2002 (See: www.ednahospsital.org)Have reconnected with 25-30 of my former students and many, many new friends. Happy to hear from anyone with current interest in Somalia -AND, anyone interested in the hospital as donor, source of equipment, source of doctors for education or special projects (e.g. cleft palates)please contact me.
