I'm sorry this RPCV had such a negative experience of Peace Corps Mozambique- but I'm also REALLY sorry this is one of the first things to come up when you google PC Mozambique. Let it be known that this was not everyone's experience and that I wouldn't even say it was the norm in PC Mozambique. It's a shame this negative image of the program and country continues to be high on google's list, especially considering it's from 2003 and we're now in 2009. I kind of feel the owner of this story should take it down. It's history, but it doesn't need to live on in cyberspace when things have improved so much.

You make a good point.
However one of the purposes of this web site is to provide a historical record of the Peace Corps which includes both the positive and negative of the experience.
For balance, here are some blog posts about the Peace Corps in Mozambique that may provide another perspective.
