Community development worker in Arequipa, Peru. Moved to Sydney, NSW in 1989. Worked in community development, mental health and refugee education until 1999. Studied at the Center for International Education at UMASS Amherst. Moved to Guatemala in 1999. Since 2001, director of Proyecto Payaso, an arts based sexual health communication project.

Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:

I'm presenting our clowning and street theatre strategy to a group of PCVs tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it.

Any message for returned volunteers?:

There is no moral dimension to defaulting on loans. A loan is a contract, nothing more. The United States, among many others, would not be the nation it is today if it had not defaulted on a massive scale. Read John Ralston Saul. And dance.
