Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:

I am a writer of short stories and two novels. My credits include over one hundred stories published in literary and national magazines, including Rosebud, North Atlantic Review, Potomac Review, Confrontation, Virginia Adversaria, Mobius, Chiron Review and Aim Magazine. My stories in The MacGuffin, Eureka Literary Magazine, Licking River Review and Words of Wisdom were nominated for Pushcart awards and Piper's Ash, Ltd. published a chapbook of my sci-fi, COSMIC WOMEN. I helped write the introduction for and have a story included in STILL GOING STRONG, a story in TEN TWISTED TALES and one coming up in MOTA 9, and a novel, REPLACING FIONA, published by etreasurespublishing.com. I am also an artist with work published in SageWoman, The MacGuffin and other magazines and have shown my paintings in various shows and galleries in Northeastern PA, Bucks County and the Caribbean.

Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:

My experience in the Peace Corps is one of the most vivid of my life. I can still remember it in detail - the people, the smells, the colors, my apartment and visitors, the rides on the train, the other volunteers, everything. It colored my life in so many ways.

Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:

Tom Newcomb, Norman, Merilee, Karen!

Any message for returned volunteers?:

I will never forget you. Forty years have passed and I can still see and hear you talking in my mind.
