She has been secretary, office manager, and Chief Financial Officer for her husband's landscape architecture office since 1976. Horses and her life have been intertwined since her adolescence ---teaching and riding professionally in Massachusetts while whipping -in for Nashoba Hunt. Interrupted by service with the Peace Corps in the Philippines, horses returned to her life when she married Walter and moved to Maryland in 1970. While living in Maryland, Linda showed her homebred mare "Under the Weather" to Grand Champion Amateur Owner and Working Hunter awards in 1975. Within several years, she and her husband bred the Maryland Thoroughbred Yearling Champion. During the period of the 1970's, 80's and 90's, Linda combined 29 years work with the John Hopkins Kennedy Krieger Pediatric Genetics Laboratory with being organizer of the M.C.T.A. horse trials for 25 years, and U.S.E.A. Area II Chairwoman from 1994 to 96. Giving back to the sport of riding continued as the present Treasurer for USEA Area II, volunteering at local events and Fair Hill International 2009.

A freak tragic incident took the life of beloved Linda W. Reynolds while vacationing in Arizona with her husband Walter and relatives on November 11, 2009. She was age 67.
Linda leaves behind a shocked community.

During this time, Linda and her husband hunted their home country with the Mount Carmel Hounds and Green Spring Valley Hounds; and currently, with Elkridge Harford Hunt, enjoying opening meet together on November 7, 2009.
From the mid 1970's until 2002, Linda was the " do everything " partner in the husband and wife eventing team, winning Best Groom, Best Turned Out Horse and winning the Essex Three Day 1994, and completing the course at the Fair Hill International three star in 2002.
This year all was well, a new field hunter, renewed bridge playing, and happy hour with her husband in the garden at their Bell Weather Farm in Upperco.
Linda requested that her ashes be released in hunting country.
Her request for a memorial party where friends could gather to celebrate her life and "joy-de-vie" with lots of wine and Willie Nelson music will take place on December 18, 2009 in the stable at Bell Weather Farm beginning at 3:00 P.M. ----- epilogue at 5:00 P.M.---- until hounds are picked up !
