5 months travelling home across Africa, Middle East, and Europe. Taught in Iowa for 1 year, then moved to Bay Area of California in 1985. Teacher in Oakland Public Schools for 25 years.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
The best thing I ever did. Loved the country, the people and my job there. Made life-long friends and felt like I truly contributed.
