Kids to Kids, a youth-focused initiative of Infante Sano, has awarded a grant to Elena Rubinfeld to support her work as a Peace Corps Volunteer in El Salvador
This grant will fund an educational project to allow girls to participate in a camp where they can escape social pressures and address the obstacles they face through interactive activities. The project will foster self--esteem, leadership, diversity and unity, and will promote continued education and involvement in the community, despite gender inequities.

Local Peace Corps member gets grant to send girls to camp
Sparta - Kids to Kids, a youth-focused initiative of Infante Sano, has awarded a grant to Elena Rubinfeld, from Sparta, to support her work in El Salvador.
This grant will fund an educational project to allow girls to participate in a camp where they can escape social pressures and address the obstacles they face through interactive activities. The project will foster self--esteem, leadership, diversity and unity, and will promote continued education and involvement in the community, despite gender inequities.
Rubinfeld, currently serving in El Salvador with the Peace Corps, is sponsoring this project in partnership with a community leader working on behalf of children.
Money for Kids to Kids grants is raised by kids throughout the country who want to make a difference in the lives of kids in developing countries. Since 2008 Kids to Kids has awarded over 180 micro--grants, totaling over $75,000, towards art, sports, environmental and educational projects.
