Work Description:

Taught English as a foreign language at a girls' middle school

Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:

Returned to the San Francisco Bay Area. Received an Associate Degree in Nursing from College of Marin in 1978. Worked as an RN at Highland Hospital in Oakland then on to San Francisco General Hospital where I worked as an RN in Critical Care from 1979 to 2006 (included 6 years in the Burn Unit and 20 years in the Trauma ICU. Attended the B.S./M.S. program in nursing at UC San Francisco from 1986-1989. Was Clinical Nurse Specialist in Med/Surg at San Francisco General from 2006-2010. Retired from Ssn Francisco General in January, 2010. Whoopee!! a new life chapter

Definitely the "best job I ever loved".
