CED Alumna Allyson Snell
Hired as a Peace Corps Recruiter
Manchester, NH (Nov. 3, 2009) – Southern New Hampshire University's School of Community Economic Development's Allyson Snell of Goffstown has been hired as a Peace Corps recruiter for New Hampshire and Massachusetts' North Shore. Snell, a CED alumna, will promote Peace Corps programs and work with volunteer applicants.
Snell earned her master's degree in international community economic development and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala from 2006-2008; where she helped local communities increase their income through the local tourism industry.
"I have never worked on anything as challenging and fulfilling as these projects," Snell said of her time as a Peace Corps Volunteer.
