Her regional experience includes serving as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Ghana and working on monitoring and evaluation at the World Food Programme's country office in Guinea-Bissau. She has also managed projects for the Sonoma County Economic Development Board and held short-term positions with the U.S. Department of State, Oxfam America, and the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab at MIT.

Hannah Bowen, daughter of Anne and Dave Bowen of Swampscott and the top-ranked student in the Swampscott High School class of 1999, joined InterMedia in August 2009 to provide project management and analysis for InterMedia projects in Africa, initially conducting analysis of data gathered through the Gates research program.
Her regional experience includes serving as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Ghana and working on monitoring and evaluation at the World Food Programme's country office in Guinea-Bissau.
She has also managed projects for the Sonoma County Economic Development Board and held short-term positions with the U.S. Department of State, Oxfam America, and the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab at MIT.
She received an M.P.A. degree in international development from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government in June 2009, and holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Yale University. She speaks basic Spanish and Ewe.
