He was director of the Pacific Basin Medical Officers Training Program, which educated and trained 70 indigenous Micronesians and American Samoans as physicians, who now form the backbone of the public health and healthcare service infrastructure in the Federated States of Micronesia, Marshall Islands, Palau and American Samoa.

Holy Cross Recognizes Alumni for Outstanding Professional Achievements and Service
Sanctae Crucis Awards to be presented to five graduates
WORCESTER, Mass. – Five graduates of the College of the Holy Cross will receive a Sanctae Crucis Award, the highest non-degree recognition bestowed by the College on an alumnus or alumna. The 12th annual presentation of the awards will take place on Friday, May 7 at the College.

Gregory M. Dever, M.D. '68: A Peace Corps alumnus and pediatrician, Greg has dedicated his professional life to improving medical care in the South Pacific.
