Work Description:

taught EFL at Lycee d'Abengourou (1978-1980); taught English/teacher training at l'Ecole Normal Superieure in Abidjan (1980-1981); worked at summer Peace Corps training at Lycee St Marie in Abidjan (summer 1979) running the kitchen.

Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:

taught ESL, English and French in the public schools (Dearborn Fordson HIgh School, Dearborn, Michigan) and retired in 2005. Now I live in White Lake, Michigan with my husband, Mike, and two college-aged children, Michael and Megan.

Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:

Peace Corps impacted the direction of my life. It led me in the direction of ESL teaching, my Master's in Linguistics and the sharing of my cultural experiences whenever I get the opportunity.

Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
