My first two years were spent working in Thaba Tseka on village woodlot projects.

I worked with the Thaba Tseka Integrated Rural Development Programme. One project (reuse/recycle) was the nail straightening project. One man was employed full time straightening bent, used nails in this little shack.
I also worked on harvesting woodlots. The next two pictures are at Linakong Woodlot. The trees planted (a species of eucalyptus) were not drought hardy and the site was a dry site. The result was fairly heavy mortality so we sold trees and replanted with a better species.
There was more than work, there was plenty of time to travel around Lesotho.
