KENNIFORD GRAHAM LAING
North of Siufaga, on the island of Savaii, Samoa, begins the finest beach I've seen. Under an afternoon sun, its white sand enters water so radiantly turquoise it's blinding. Sitting in a palm's shade, cool seabreeze upon me, I'd watch the South Pacific's swells break in white lines along the outer edge of the reef. Then, drowsy with the low rumbling from across the lagoon, I'd stare to the horizon and try to decide what I should be doing with the rest of my life. And, thinking long and deep enough ...

Born in Ottawa, Canada, I now live in Rochester, New York, with my wife Lina, my daughter, Mary and my son, Kenny.
I graduated in 1972 from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and Syracuse University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Resource Management.
Currently, a field service technician/machinist for Lightnin, the world's foremost manufacturer of industrial mixing and aeration equipment, I have been a machinist, singer/guitarist, mechanic, water treatment plant operator, Peace Corps volunteer, and maritime & stevedoring company operations manager.
My hobbies and interests include weight training/bodybuiding, reading, writing, hockey, computers, and playing and listening to music especially The Kingston Trio.
Writing is something I've always wanted to do but could never find time for; I still don't have time but I'm trying to apply myself anyway! I'd like to hear from other writers regardless of the level of your craft.
