Peace Corps Returns to Bangladesh

Peace Corps re-established a program in Bangladesh in 1998, after an absence of more than 30 years. Currently, 49 Volunteers are working in district towns throughout the country. Most of them are helping primary school teachers improve their English so that they are better prepared to help Bangladesh children learn English. Other Volunteers are developing curriculum and teaching English in vocational and technical schools.

In addition to their primary assignments, Volunteers in Bangladesh provide assistance in many other ways. Several Volunteers are actively involved in national campaign to eradicate polio in Bangladesh, and others work with a variety of non-governmental and community organizations providing health education for women and children. Volunteers are also helping environmental organizations, indigenous peoples' groups, and community English resource centers.

What am I allowed to send into Bangladesh to my cousin, Sara Novak, as a Peace Corp volunteer, that will not cost her to receive or cause any other problems?
