Ah, Natalie has such a smile. Aren't you smiling back at her?
Natalie Waldinger
20 January 2001
Sara, Patrick, and I designed Natalie's Memorial Program. It's nice, isn't it? The service was so beautiful -- couldn't have been lovelier. Afterwards, Sarah turned to me and said, "We made Natalie happy today." Fortunately, the service was taped and sent to her father.
Gale, our PC country director, introduced me as someone who was like a Big Sister to Natalie. I'd forgotten that we had that role to each other, but it's true. I loved her . She was like a younger sister to me. So sweet. So willing and eager to listen to advice. I don't think she'd want me to share more.
Grief is a process that can't be rushed -- only dealt with step-by-step as we come to each.
Love from your daughter,
Abby
