After marrying that crazy Polish doctor, had one perfect child, studied counseling, became a photographer. Have been teaching ESL at the university and writing a memoir about my years in West Africa.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Many--that's why I'm writing a memoir. I'm glad I served while in my twenties, because the experience has informed the rest of my life.
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
Any of my old buddies. You know who you are. I've kept in touch with many. but would love to hear from everyone.
Any message for returned volunteers?:
It takes time to readjust. Be patient and kind to yourself.
