USAID Development Officer, 1977-2007, in Sudan, Niger, Peru, WashDC, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Egypt, Honduras, and Ecuador. Currently consulting in Haiti, Mali, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, Zimbabwe, Guatemala.

A good experience that helped prepare me for a very rewarding career.
Any message for returned volunteers?:
The USA couldn't afford "guns and butter" in the 70's; we can afford it even less not. Lobby to end the wars!
