James Jablonski wrote a Letter to the Editor in the Fall 2012 issue of the Friends of Nigeria newsletter in which he mentions an Irish Catholic Priest named Desmond McGlade. Fr. McGlade lived just down the road from my school in Ukehe and I knew him very well. I remained in Biafra even after the war had begun and even after Fr. McGlade was taken prisoner by Nigerian forces just outside of Nsukka. I'd like to contact Mr. Jablonski regarding my memories of Fr. McGlade.
