I am an RPCV. My son Peter (who is a college student in International Relations) is making a trip to Uganda this month (June 2018) as a GROW team leader with GlobeMed http://globemed.org/ . He will be connecting with FINASP http://www.finasp.org/ to establish a project on youth employment/ business development of bakeries. I have a couple of questions.
1. Are there any immediate safety concerns in the area around Lira he should be aware of? (He will be based in Lira, but also going to Apac, Soroti, and Murchison Falls)
2. Is anyone aware of, or has worked with FINASP?
3. Are there any current PC Volunteers or other contacts in Lira currently who might be able to connect with him? Thank you,
