Kelly would like all her friends on the team to know that she is still alive and well and living in Kosice, Slovakia. Her Peace Corps work involves teaching English to elementary school students (about 240 of them).

Have You Seen This Woman!
More Importantly - Have you written or emailed her lately?
Kelly would like all her friends on the team to know that she is still alive and well and living in Kosice, Slovakia. Her Peace Corps work involves teaching English to elementary school students (about 240 of them). She's joined a women's soccer team in town (she's teaching them about rugby) and is trying to start a girl's soccer team at her school (she could use some soccer balls). She would really appreciate hearing from you, so take a few minutes to write her. She is also trying to build a collection of English language children's books that she can leave at the school when she comes home - if you can help her out, please let her know. If you don't have her address, ask Valerie, Rachelle or Mark.

Here is a picture of the State Theater in the city centre of Kosice.
The interior of theatre is richly decorated with plaster ornaments and the stage is lyre-shaped. The ceiling of the theatre's building is decorated with paintings by the Viennese painter P. Gatseb with scenes from Shakespeare's tragedies Othello, Romeo and Juliet, King Lear and Midsummer Night's dream.
On the main forcade of the building a memorial plaque dedicated to the first director of the theatre after WW2 - the national artist Janko Borodac.
Originally built during the years 1879-1899, the building was reconstructed from 1988 to 1994.
