I attended Achimota Secondary School from 1964 until 1970 as a student. I had 2 great teachers who were with the Peace Corps during the period 1967 to 1968. I don't really remember their names - one taught science. They both participated in our Gilbert & Sullivan production of that year. Obviously the impact on my life was great and I would like to find them to thank them. In the event I don't find them, then my thanks to you all who provided the same for some other young person.

Does anyone know where he is now?

My name is Vivian Hazel Adzaku - I served in Ghana 1968-71, and I wonder where Nick Gmur, Mike Bogin, Barry who was allergic to peanuts and Bob who lost about 60 lbs while we were there are- they had Thanksgiving dinner with my mom and me - my mother was working in Ho as a missionary...in fact I may be one of the only volunteers who was met by a parent when arriving in country! I married one of my students at Awudome Secondary School - this year is our 25th wedding anniversary.

Hello, I am looking for Joseph Rothstein who worked in Larabanga, Northern Region, Ghana in the late 90s. Near Mole National Park. I believe he worked closely with the Salia Brothers on a tourist information Centre. There was also at the same time another PCV named Mark I believe. I am a Canadian who has just been conducting research in the area and would be highly indebted for any information provided.

Did anyone work with my friend John McGinn in Kumasi? John was killed in an auto accident in Pennsylvania while he was recruiting for the Peace Corps. I was told that a library at the school was established in his name. Does anyone know if the memorial is still there?
Thanks,
Jerry Wright

Heck, the PC staff at Accra told me I was first deaf PCV in Ghana. I helped the deaf association in Koforidua, E/R,('01-'03). I didn't do much but lead a massive stumble over the undocumented SPA.

Well, what could you expect?

I'm trying to find a Mr. Trotter who taught math at Achimota Secondary School between 1983 and 1985. I'm a former student of his and do remember that he hailed from Wisconsin.

I know I am "tardy" (his word) in trying to find him after all these years, but hopefully someone can put me in touch!

I am Stephen (Steve) Bosworth who was in Ghana II.

After leaving Ghana in 1964, I did my post-graduate studies in London, married "Marilyn" my wonderful English wife, have 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren. For many years I taught political philosopohy at the University of Portsmouth in the UK and since 1989 I've been teaching Political Science in Northern Cyprus.

I would like to hear any news about my PC colleagues. For example, Eddie Smith was my partner in Half Assini between 1962 and 1963. I hope he is well.
