Although there is no formal association, I have been in touch via email with many of you. If you have NEVER been contacted and wish to be, please send me your name, PC site and years, and email address. A small group is organizing a reunion dinner of Iran volunteers during the next NPCA conference in DC in June. The more, the merrier. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
If anyone knows the whereabouts of Mary Hegland who was in Mahabad in 1966-68 please let me know.

Looking for members of Iran 19 or 18 or 20 in country in the late '60's. Today's news of earthquake damage to Bam, brought back a flood of memories of that city and friends from long ago.

Cleo F. Shook, who was one of 6 who started the Peace Corps, died at the age of 92. His memorial service will be tomorrow. I had the priviledge of meeting Cleo through our church, Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena. He was a giant among men, a great statesman. He told us stories of God's leading that are hard to believe. He will be sorely missed.
