Maryland Returned Volunteer Group is Back in Action!
Maryland Returned Volunteers (MD RVs) is back, we are up and running with a lot of great ideas. Our membership is starting to grow, spanning all four decades of Peace Corps and every continent where Peace Corps has served. We invite you to join our organization and participate in some of our upcoming activities.
Maryland Returned Volunteers acts as a network for Maryland Returned Peace Corps Vounteers (RPCVs), Vista Volunteers, and families of RPCVs and Vista Volunteers in the Baltimore metro area and surrounding counties. We meet both formally and informally (see our proposed 2002 calendar below). Newly returned volunteers can find helpful contacts and assistance with various needs, and EVERYONE can find fellow RPCVs who enjoy exchanging thoughts, sharing their unique experiences and sometimes outrageous ideas. Of course we don't just live in the past. Our goals include reaching out to Maryland communities with service projects, sharing our knowledge and appreciation of other people and cultures from around the world, and keeping in touch with National and Global events.
