Hello to my fellow VT RPCVs!
I am a member of the Burlington Truancy Task Force, and at a recent meeting I was surprised to learn that over 100 languages are spoken in the homes of the student body. The district hires translators for only the following three languages: Vietnamese, Bosnian and Tibetan. The district is in search of volunteer translation at student meetings for a variety of languages, especially those that will support the refugee population. Is there anyone out there who can help?
