Bettie A. (Smith) Ivanochko is a RPCV from NE Washington, DC. She graduated from McKinley High School and DC Teachers College. She met her spouse (a Canadian CUSO volunteer) while in Navrongo, Ghana. She went on to a Master of Adult Ed from St. Francis Xavier Univ. in Canada. Now she coordinates literacy programs for Aboriginal Indians in northern Canada, living in the northern forest.
