i am a current volunteer in honduras and recieved today a wit of summons for a car accident 3 years ago in dover new hampshire during icy road conditions the weekend after thanksgiving. i was fully covered insurance wise. it was a three car pile up, i was in the middle. i was driving a reasonable spead, but hit black ice, lost control and hit a woman in a jeep cherokee who was stopped diagonally in the left lane, then was hit by the woman behind me after she hit the same black ice. i have no speeding tickets, and in the local papers the next day were articles about the terrible road conditions and the numerous car accidents that day. now the plaintiff is accusing me of negligence and suing me for suffering physically and emotionally. i have no money, as i am a volunteer, and i need help as this woman has a lawyer. are any of you lawyers, can you give me advice, pro-bono, or know someone who can?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
