I would like to contact those RPCVs with an interest in Africa. I have just returned from a Fulbright year+ in Nigeria and have coordinated an exhibit featuring three contemporary artists at the Fred Scott Gallery in Sudbury (29 Hudson Rd./Route 27 in the Village Green complex above Carmen's Veranda). Tobenna Okwuosa is a recent graduate of the University of Benin, Benin City, with a Master's of Fine Arts in Painting; Bayo Ogundele is an Oshogbo workshop artist; and Lawrence Ajanaku is a traditional artist who works in cloth applique and whose works are not usually sold to outsiders. The exhibit is scheduled to run through the beginning of April. The gallery is open from 10-6 daily and 12-5 on Sundays. I will be doing a gallery talk on March 11. Go to www.fscottgallery.com for details of receptions and directions. Jean Borgatti (www.clarku.edu/~jborgatt).
