ACT/Action for Community Transformation invites you to a party celebrating 4 years of service to Honduran youth. April 3, 2005, 4-6 pm. Frederick Douglass Museum, 320 A St, NE, Washington, DC 20002. Honduras Garifuna dancers, drummer, and music; wine and tapas.
ACT, which was started by a FPCV, provides academic or vocational training to students in Colonia Episcopal on the north coast. As you know, Hondurans must pay for secondary education and poorer families can't afford it. We also help Copan Pinta Arts Project for Street Kids, a School Supplies project for 1,500 childen in remote communities. Your presence and support would be much appreciated. Let us hear from you.
