Hey all!

I am a RPCV who served in the Republic of Georgia and COSed May 8.

I am looking at going into the world of documentaries. Before joining the Peace Corps I worked in the film industry in various aspects of production, both on and off-set. What bothered me was the mentality that actors needed to make more and more money (5-6k per day wasn't enough) and in the same breath they would say how poor the rest of the world was. It was a constant act of hypocrisy, so I packed up and joined the Peace Corps.

My journeys in the Republic of Georgia were incredible and I left with a sense of wanting to show people the world they live in, educate them on different cultures and people they were not previously aware of. Combining my experience overseas with what I already know about the entertainment industry led me to this path and ultimately, this message board.
