I'm a RPCV from Chile 1993-1996 who lives in Dallas now, and a group of friends are considering a trip to Tanzania to hike Mt Kilimanjaro.

I'm looking for information about best time to travel, guides, agencies, or other info to make it a great trip. We are non-technical hikers/campers in decent shape and looking for a good weeklong trip up the volcano.
