I am a current Peace Corps Volunteer serving in Suriname. I am from the Highland, IL and joined Peace Corps in 2007. My village and I are currently working on a Durotank project throught Peace Corps Partnership Program, and are seeking assistance in funding. Currently in the village there is no clean water source; all drinking water comes from a nearby creek. Illness is running rampant because of the lack of clean water; the situation is serious.
