Peace Corps sevice was a life changing experience for my husband and

I am a master deisel mechanic, still teaching. Lakena is 22 now, born on Funafuti, the first palagi born in Tuvalu. Cindy lost her battle with cancer two years ago, she is missed.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Two years was not enough time.
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
the Ericksons, Dillys, McBrides, Tim Kreiger, Drew and Robbi Yarros. We met so many good people, would love to hear from anyone who remembers Roy, Cindy, and Lakena.

Life after the Peace Corps was my greatest challenge.

I have spent several years working in the Bahamas, Florida, Virginia, and now North Carolina. I recently got my Master's degree in Marine Science.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Some of the best days of my life were spent in Tuvalu, I love my adopted family from Vaitupu, especially Fanoga and Pesiki and all of their kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. I almost married a beautiful girl from Nui but it did not work out. C'est la Vie.

I am doing great these days, married to the love of my life, Rachel, a Trinidadian native. We have two gorgeous girls Eula (4 years) and Dominique (1 year).

some of the most formative years of my life...we have hosted many international visitors at our home and it was because of the hospitality that was demonstrated to us from the generous Tuvaluans
