Cancer survivors, stroke victims, wheelchair-bound senior citizens, struggling families, and school children are having their wishes granted with a free beautification of their homes and schools.

Volunteers Fulfill The Wishes of Seniors & Children

The United We Paint Coalition (UWP) announced that volunteer efforts on Saturday, June 3rd, 2006 will revitalize homes owned by low-income seniors, military families, physically or mentally challenged individuals, and economically-disadvantaged families throughout Orange County absolutely free of charge. Volunteers will also beautify community buildings such as public schools, day-care centers, teen centers, senior centers, and non-profit buildings. Painting, landscaping, wheelchair ramps, and appliance installation are services provided by United We Paint. The United We Paint Coalition is now seeking volunteers to help beautify the homes and schools nominated. Families are welcome to join the efforts and all volunteers receive a free lunch. All paint and supplies are provided.

Volunteer deadline is June 1st.
