I am a "special friend" of Special Olympics Togo (SOT). SOT is seeking funding for 8 athletes and their trainers and SOT officials to go to the Special Olympics Games to be held in Shanghai in Oct 2007. Togo is a very small, very poor country located in West Africa and the SOT program is being revived. I was present at SOT competition in December and it was a joy to see young people from all over the nation participate. I hope to see it grow even more. What we need are funds and leads to funding sources that will help SOT realize the goal of having athletes participate in the games in Shanghai. Any help is welcome.
Thank you
