I am doing a research paper and need to do interviews as part of the research process. If any past volunteers have a few minutes to answer some questions, I would greatly appreciate it!

1.) How or why did you decide to join the Peace Corps?
2.) Where did you go and what were your duties while serving? Describe a typical day, if possible.
3.) What training did you receive before going?
4.) What was it like to live in a new country and to be away from your family for two years?
5.) What did you miss while you were away? What didn't you miss?
6.) What were the positives of serving as a volunteer?
7.) Were there any negatives?
8.) How has the experience affected your life?
9.) Would you consider joining the Peace Corps again? Would you recommend it for others? Why or why not?
10.) What should people consider before joining? What advice would you give someone who is thinking about joining?
11.) Is there any other information you would like to share?

Thank you for your time and help!

I don't know if you are still working on your research paper, or even if i "qualify" but I am a peace corps trainee and would be happy to help you with your project.
