I'm part of a research group at UC Berkeley, and we're looking to undertake a project similar to Aprotech's water pump innovation. Basically, we're looking for simple and economical ways to make life easier for people in developing nations :)
Some examples of what we're considering include water purification, peanut shelling, and honey gathering. I would really appreciate it if anyone could share any more ideas with us.
