Carole was a volunteer in Sierra Leone in the late 60's or early 70's. I met her at Syracuse University's Semester in Italy, in Florence, in the fall of 1965. She was originally from Selma, Alabama and attended Sweetbriar College. I believe she also spent time in Florence in a Middlebury program. |
