With the release of www.focuss.eu a unique cooperative initiative has been established between 24 organisations in the development arena. The partners in this initiative are: African Studies Centre, AllianceSud, ATOL, Bernard van Leer Foundation, Chr. Michelsen Institute, Development Gateway Foundation, European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes (EADI), Euforic, German Development Institute, ICCO, Institute of Development Studies, Inwent, Institute of Social Studies, Institut Universitaire d'Études du Développement (IUED), LEAD Afrique Francophone, Royal Tropical Insitute, Nordic Institute of Asian Studies (NiAS), Overseas Development Institute (ODI), Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), TakingITGlobal, Technical Centre for Agriculture and Rural Cooperation (CTA-EU), University College Dublin, University of Illinois (Center for Global Studies) and University of Sussex.
Practitioners, researchers and students in the area of global development studies are supplied with a new gateway to the Internet with regard to development matters. Focuss.eu provides high quality search results from over 3 million webpages.
