Hello and thanks for reading. I am currently in high school and would like to join the peace corps. I go to boarding school across the country so i will have the experience and maturity i feel that would help me. Sorry for rambling but my question is do i need to go to college to get accepted? I want to be a valuable member to the peace corps but I am concerned I will be rejected. Thanks for the help. |

If you grew up on a farm or ranch and know about growing crops and/or animal husbandry, a college education is not necessary. If you have specific skills like working in a hospital, clinic or maybe in business, a college education may not be necessary. However, be aware that about 94% of current volunteers have at least a bachelors degree. Call your local Peace Corps recruiter for up to date statistics and suggestions. Good luck. |
