I'm 34 and wondering if anyone has any comments about joining PC in your 30s? Are there other volunteers in this age range? How was it stopping your career, leaving home, etc? What about the return?

On another note, I'm fully prepared to live "basically", but I know my limits and I think I would need at least electricity and running water (even if it's not potable).. Is there any way to request during the application process electricity and running water? What % of assignments have these 2 things, approximately? I hope I don't sound like a princess!!
