PhD in Economics (Development and Trade)from Northwestern University in 1976; International Economist at the Fed 1975-77; Economist at Agency for International Development since then, focusing mainly on Asia and the Near East, and on policy. Married in 1987. Father of Greg (10) and Lisa (8). Avid cyclist
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
It's remarkable to have gone from being one of the anti-war good guys in the late 1960's, to one of the pro-globalization bad guys in the late 1990's, all the while trying to reduce poverty in developing countries.
