Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
Got an MS and MBA, managed the foundation seed rice program for the state of Texas for 2 years, went back overseas (Guinea - Bissau --- "... they speak Portuguese and the country is on the Atlantic Ocean, just like Brazil." After 2 years, there I joined USAID. I'm now head of personnel for USAID's global bureau in Washington (Economic Growth, Agriculture and Trade).
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Changed my life ... opened many doors. Never really returned to the life I knew before. Always saw the world differently after Peace Corps. Persig's "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" view that perception determines reality and what is real depends on how you filter it through your own senses and experiences --- Peace Corps was and has been my filter on reality.
Any message for returned volunteers?:
