Cities you served in: Paulo Jacinto, Palmeira dos Indios, AL
Arrival Year: 1967

Work Description: Rural community development
Bring us up to date on your life after the peace corps:
I am a tax attorney in Phoenix, AZ with a niche practice consisting of
providing tax consultation to one of the more-than-20
federally-recognized tribes of Native Americans in Arizona.
Any thoughts you have now looking back on peace corps days?:
Very possibly the most important experience of my life. I've recently
reestablished contact with some people whose families I worked with
and am having a blast learning how my Brazilian community has
changed and developed over time.
Anyone you are looking for or would like to hear from?:
Karen McClelland, Don Bouchard, Len & Beth Eisenberg, Susan Murray,
Ned Waite, anyone else from the group.
Any message for returned volunteers?:
I am particularly interested in talking with my friends from Brazil about
setting up a foundation to provide financial support for legal services to
Indians in Brazil as well as hoping to find out how everyone is.
